Identity
Established in 2023, Romanian Academic Association of Canada (RAAC) is a network of academics, researchers and students. RAAC also welcomes practitioners interested in promoting academic collaboration between Romania and Canada.
Our objectives
The purpose of RAAC is to promote collaboration between academics from Romania, Canada and other countries, in various fields of study, to foster academic and cultural exchange, and to support the dissemination of knowledge and understanding between our countries. Our objectives include:
- to enable and promote exchanges of students, professors and researchers through mobility programs
- to collaborate in knowledge dissemination activities such as joint events and publications
- to strengthen the research and teaching collaboration among students, professors and researchers from our countries
- to share knowledge and best practices for fundamental and applied R&D in collaboration with private, public and community partners from our countries
